Fuyuhiko Takata

　元々は「幽霊画」をテーマにしたグループ展のために制作した作品。
　シーツで出来た幽霊が、血まみれの作者の生首を手にして、円相図を描いている。だが、この映像はバレバレのトリックによって作られており、そこが肝要だ。実は幽霊の中身は空であり（シーツを天井から吊っている）生首は本物の作者の首である。作者は自分で自分自身の首をアクリル板に押しつけ、円相を描いている。


This video was originally created for a group show themed “ghost painting”.
In the work, a bedsheet ghost draws an Ensozu (Zen infinity circle) with the decapitated head of Takata covered with blood. The trick behind the ghost and the head is obvious, and it is this “obviousness” that is the important focus of the video.
There is nothing inside the bedsheet (the sheet is suspended from the ceiling) and the blood-covered head is the actual head of the artist. The artist pushes his head against an acrylic plate by himself to draw the circle.
